Lagovska Brand Library
Here you will find everything you need to know to communicate with the world.

Logo
01. Logo
The logo was designed to be instantly recognisable. Personal, intimate and very characteristic, it reflects the core values of the brand — adhere to your true self, to your purpose in life, and to your calling. Below you can find a number of rules to help you build the brand according to its inherent strengths.
Additionally, we provide the logotype source files saved in the most popular formats (Ai, PDF, SVG, PNG).
Logo color variants
The logotype should be used in the appropriate relation to the background color so as to maintain the desired contrast, ensuring an appropriate level of legibility.
Icon
The Poppy
An extension of the brand’s origins, building subtle connections to the original country of the founder, both in color and in symbolism — a Polish poppy.
Icon base variants
The icon is used as a recognisable stamp-like graphic element to emphasize the brand language. It can be used alongside the logotype, or without, but never in such a way as to be mistaken as part of the logotype itself.
The icon pack includes all color variations listed below.
Icon color variants
As with the logotype above, The icon should be used in the appropriate relation to the background color so as to maintain the desired contrast, ensuring an appropriate level of legibility.
02 —
Origin
The origin is a metaphysical amalgam of ideas that reflect the character of the founder, both past, present and future. It is a longing for nostalgia, knowledge of ones roots, but also the power and fierceness of the female element that is part of the duality inherent to the world.
03 —
Con—
struction
The logotype was constructed on the basis of the grid shown in the diagram below. It is important to maintain all proportions and relations between its elements, because even the smallest change may disrupt its form, and thus the loss of legibility and coherence of communication.
04 —
Clear—
space
The protective field is the minimum space surrounding the logotype, which must not contain any graphic element. It ensures an appropriate level of readability of communication. We designate them each time according to the structure described in the diagram below.
Attention! The blank space surrounding the sign may be larger than that indicated below.
05 —
Regis—
tration marks
The Lagovska logo may be registered in the future or be provided with the Trademark (TM) or Service Mark (SM). The labels should then be placed in the place shown in the diagram below.
Attention! The scale of symbols may vary due to the scale of individual reproductions of the mark and the techniques used to reproduce it.
06 —
Scaling
Depending on the medium used (print, screen), the minimum size of the logotype should be established.
Attention! For maximum consistency and the highest quality reproduction, you should always use the source files on this site.
Any exception to the situations described below should be consulted with the brand owners or a Lagovska marketing official.

Misuse
The consistent and effective display of the Lagovska logotype is an important element in building a communication system. Therefore, the approved version of the logotype should not be changed in any way, as it was constructed according to strictly defined proportions. It is necessary to use it with proper awareness and to use only electronic source files included in the library or provided by the brand owners.
The most likely errors are indicated in the diagrams below.
Don’t scale the logotype disproportionately.
Don’t rotate the logotype in a way that makes it feel wonky or crooked.
Don’t use the icon and the logotype in a way that implies unwanted connection between the two
Only use the logotype provided; never recreate it with different glyphs.
Don’t pair the logo with elements that may be confused as different versions of the logo.
Don’t use an outlined version of the logotype. Outlined typography is ok.

Typo—
graphy
Brand communicates using the Sombra typeface. The basic task to be fulfilled by typography in Bidermann + Wide communication is to convey content in the most effective and legible way. Sombra combines width and weight in unexpected ways to create alternating rhythms and stark hierarchy in the communication.
Attention! If the use of the main font proves impossible, the use of different lettering is permissible, but it should be consulted and approved by the brand owner or entity responsible for marketing activities.
Below you will find a link to purchase the font and a sample to download.
